Beat Connection Sign to Tender Age!
Congratulations to Seattle locals and BCB favorites and friends Beat Connection for signing a deal with Tender Age records, an imprint of Moshi Moshi (home of Hot Chip and Lykke Li among many others). To celebrate, here is a video from Camp Revival shot right down the street from me! The video includes some friendly discussion starring Reed and Jordan leading into an excellent rendition of Surf Noir standout track "Silver Screen". From Camp Revival:
Climbing up to the attic space where Beat Connection’s equipment was set up, the band’s sound made more and more sense to me. They are basically practicing in the clouds, overlooking the entire U-District; it was incredible. After a quick sound check, grilled meats and a healthy amount of beer we started the camera and caught part one of the Beat Connection series.
From Tender Age look forward to a revised version of Surf Noir and a "few other goodies" soon. Good work boys! Congratulate them yourselves here.
Another video here where they talk about the future.
