Holy Spirits/Gem Club - "Fingertips"

[via]

Another great collaboration, this time between Holy Spirits and Gem Club. Somehow peaceful and uncomfortable at the same time, it is incredibly gorgeous. The video, directed by Nathaniel Whitcomb, is chock full or serene images that pair perfectly with the music. These collaborations and more are available via We Get By and you can by the cassette here. I do recommend it!

Gem Club - "Spine" Video

Gem Club strike again with a(nother) haunting, tragic and serene video for the Acid and Everything closer "Spine." As with every song on the fantastic six song EP, "Spine" features slow violins and piano that provide a gorgeous backdrop for Christopher Barnes' melancholy vocals. The dangling legs of the video are likewise simple, haunting and elegant. Sadly, being out of the state caused my slowness on getting this video out there but I think its better late than never. Get the track here.

Gem Club - Acid and Everything

[via]

Piano, violins, and slow melodies from a lazy voice. Gem Club are masters of gorgeous melancholy. They released their Acid and Everything EP yesterday on bandcamp. All of these songs are on it.
