Akeboshi meets Stranglers.



When I was a junior in high school (2005-2006), I had a friend who was really into Anime and music. He showed me "Wind" by Akeboshi. I haven't heard this song in about 3 years, until today when I was watching He Died With a Felafel in His Hands and I heard "Golden Brown" by Stranglers. They have the same melody (if you don't count the extra beat in "Golden Brown") and they are both terrific. Not exactly the same, but enough to throw me into a fit of nostalgia. This very-part-time contributor could not be more excited alone at 11:30 on a Thursday night. Have a listen:
