Its a Bird, Its a Plane...It's Blitz!

The New Yeah Yeah Yeah's Lp really does have an exclamation mark.

Besides the entirely mesmerizing culinary catastrophe as the cover art, the Sasquatch! bound band, Yeah Yeah Yeah's have an album full of music to go along with it. Their third full length It's Blitz! is the follow up to their 2006 Lp Show Your Bones

and marks a bit of a departure from both of their earlier albums. This album features poppy synth's and house disco beats making Karen O's command to "Dance till your dead" on the second song something I just might try out (Anyone else going to Sasquatch?). 

Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone from SNL Haters and Colbert Lovers, TV On the Radio also helped out with the track "Dragon Queen." Tunde contributed some vocals and Kyp back him and Karen up with tambourine (yes!).  Oh, and Dave Sitek produced the album. And, as if this album needed more hype, Kanye recently posted on the band and debuted the second song from the album "Heads Will Roll" which you can find here.
